David Frohman, President of Peachstate Historical Consulting, Inc., has received the honor of being
selected to catalog and appraise the personal space collection of astronaut Eugene A. Cernan. Cernan was the last man to walk on the Moon and "one of the most extraordinary men that I have ever met," Frohman said. "This legendary astronaut is one of only three humans who have ever traveled twice to the Moon. Cernan came within 50,000 feet of the surface during Apollo 10, and then walked on it as the last man on the Moon during Apollo 17". "Captain Cernan's accomplishments are legendary, and his three flights into space span much of the American pioneer space program. As Cernan's private archivist, cataloger, and appraiser, I was thus afforded a unique view into his remarkable career, and given a fresh perspective into the history of human space exploration!" |
