David Frohman, President of Peachstate Historical Consulting, Inc., made a special appearance at
the Pinkeyville Middle School in Atlanta today to inspire the children about space exploration. Appearing before hundreds of school children, Frohman unveiled a rare group of lunar artifacts that were actually used by the Apollo astronauts on or at the Moon. Objects such as a rare lunar map, equipment, and checklist pages used on the Moon brought gasps from the children, especially as Frohman encouraged each child to personally handle the artifacts under his close supervision. "One of the most rewarding elements of my career is making school presentions whereas I bring in flown lunar artifacts to let the children hold and study them on a one-on-one basis", Frohman said. "I cannot think of any other scenario whereas school children are actually not only permitted but encouraged to handle artifacts used on the Moon!" "Before I arrived space exploration was simply an abstraction to the kids", Frohman stated, "but by the time I left abstraction had became reality to countless children who are now enthralled about space! "Consider that this morning before I arrived they were ordinary kids going about their ordinary day. However, by the time I left in the afternoon those same children were among the few human beings in history to have ever physically touched and handled artifacts used on the Moon!" |
